(BLOOMINGTON) - Charges have been dropped against a Bloomington-based firm accused of bilking customers out of more than $250-million.

Eleven officials of International Outsourcing Services and the company itself faced indictment by a federal grand jury in March.

Under terms of a deal with prosecutors, the 11 people named, including former chairman Bruce Furr and former Chief Financial Officer William Babler, will be removed from their jobs and replaced with outside applicants.

In addition, the company can have charges re-filed against it if officials do not comply with terms of the agreement. One tenet of that deal is making all employees and pertinent documents available to authorities whenever necessary.
