Bedford Receives White House Award
(BEDFORD) - Historic Review Board President Mary-Margaret Stipp spoke to the Bedford City Council about a White House initiative that gives Bedford the Preserve America award.
Stipp says the city received the award for support of historic preservation projects, a commitment from local government for preservation and protecting historic resources within the city.
A sign designating the honor is at the east end of Bedford on Hwy. 50. Stipp is looking to add more signs at other entrances to the city.
