Arguing Couple Sent To Jail
(BEDFORD) - After receiving a 911 hang-up call to the Bedford Police Department a check on the residence resulted in the arrest of an arguing couple.
Police went to the 400 block of "N" Street and could hear yelling and screaming coming from the home.
When police went inside the house, 41-year-old Timothy Deckard began to argue with the officer and even tried to throw the officer onto the floor. Deckard was eventually handcuffed and charged with resisting arrest by force, battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct.
Deckard's acquaintance, 47-year-old Rhea Deanne Irwin, became loud and abusive and lunged at one of the officers. Irwin was charged with resisting arrest by force and disorderly conduct.
Both individuals were taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
