(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Republican Women’s Club held a Meet the Candidates Night dinner at the Bedford Downtown Convention Center Thursday night.
Several of the Bedford mayoral candidates spoke including incumbent Joe Klumpp, also Jack Butterfield, Jean Williams and Johnathon Srygler. Mitchell mayor hopefuls Billy Carlisle and Dan Terrell were there.
The two women vying for the Bedford Clerk Treasurer's office spoke briefly. Incumbent Donna Brumbaugh and Julie Blackwell-Chase-Brinegar asked for the approximately 40 people in attendance for their vote.
Several city council members were recognized as well including Kelly Cobb, Mark Scherschel, Brandi Hughes and Byron Buker.
