North Lawrence School Bus Drivers Upset With Choices

(BEDFORD) - About a dozen bus drivers for the North Lawrence Community Schools were present at last night’s school board meeting.

They were upset over how bus routes were issued. Others spoke to the board about how each route was not always given to the lowest bidder. They mentioned how they were not informed in a timely manner about how drivers were given the routes.

The board referred those in attendance to Transportation Director Mr. Goodin. He along with the school board is planning to examine the routes and make any appropriate changes if needed.
