NLCS Elementary Schools Nearly Finished

(BEDFORD) - Work continues with the construction on the Fayetteville, Springville and Heltonville elementary schools.

Maintenance Director Steve Ritter says the Fayetteville school will be ready for occupancy by May 24th and the old school will begin demolition on June 2nd.

Remodeling continues at the Springville school with painting and landscaping and at the Heltonville school, the road into the school is being cut, the gym is not quite finished and the most of the kitchen equipment is in but not installed.

Ritters says furniture for the three schools was bided by five companies. Those who offered the lowest bid included Bedford Office Supply, Lee Company, Virco and Kruegar International.
