Meeting Set For Law. Co. Poll Inspectors

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Clerk Julie Blackwell-Chase-Brinegar is alerting Bedford and Mitchell poll inspectors that they will be required to attend one of two training sessions to be held tonight.

The teachings will be held in the Lawrence County Circuit Courtroom upstairs in the Courthouse. One session will begin at 4:00PM the other at 6:00PM. Attendance by poll clerks and judges is encouraged, as well. A representative from MicroVote Corporation will be other to continue training on the new Infinity Voting machines. These machines will be used exclusively for this primary election on Tuesday, May 8th.

Julie Blackwell-Chase-Brinegar reminds voters that tomorrow, Wednesday, a test of the ballot card system and electronic voting machines will be conducted at the Clerk's Office at 10:30AM. Anyone interested in seeing the test is invited to attend.
