(BEDFORD) - Steve Adams with the Lawrence County Department of Child Services is asking the county for a temporary loan to help pay for expenses that are mounting up.
Adams says it takes about $120,000 a month to run the service and bills are adding about $31,000 to the bottom line.
The Lawrence County Council approved Adams to search for a loan. They gave Adams a limit of $600,000.
Adams says the loan will be paid by December 31, 2007 without increasing county taxes.
