Crash Kills Prom Queen Hopeful

(HELMSBURG) - Friends and family of a Brown County High School prom queen candidate are mourning her death following a one-car crash.

Authorities say 17-year-old Madeline Bachelier died Monday after her vehicle left the roadway and slammed into a tree.

Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
