Construction To Begin On Plaza Drive

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Board of Works approved the start of construction on the first phase of Plaza Drive to be built that will stretch from John Williams Boulevard next to Wal-Mart to 16th Street near Big Lots.
Bonar Group of Indianapolis will be overseeing the project. Bids will be let in early spring with construction to follow.
There are about seven parcels of land to be purchased for the new road. Once completed, Plaza Drive is expected to reduce congestion on both John Williams Boulevard and 16th Street.
