One Week Left For Political Filing
(BEDFORD) - Julie Blackwell Chase Brinegar reminds those considering running for a city office in the 2007 municipal primary election that the deadline to file will be at noon on Friday, February 23rd, one week from today.
Filing must be made in the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office, Room 20 on the main floor in the Lawrence County Court House. State Form CAN-42 must be used and is available in the Voter Registration Office, the Lawrence County Clerk's Office, on the Indiana Secretary of State's website at www.in.gov.
Blackwell Chase Brinegar also encourages voters to check their registration and polling information to insure accuracy by calling her office at 277-2036 or by accessing the state's new website at www.indianavoters.com.
