Lawrence Co. SWCD's 50th Annual Meeting Held At Spring Mill

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 50th Anniversary Annual meeting was held Monday at Spring Mill Inn.

Nearly 100 people attended the event. George Wilcox, a supervisor from the first board of supervisors talked about how the Lawrence County District began. District Conservationist Jerry Lish gave a slide presentation about the past SWCD events.

John Ed Hobson was elected as the newly elected supervisor. Curtis McBride became the newly appointed supervisor.
