(BEDFORD) - Purdue University will co-sponsor a workshop next month in Bedford that will teach landowners whether or not the trees on their property could generate income.
The Hardwood Log, Lumber and Tree Grading Workshop is designed for landowners and others to see the value of lumber that can be generated from different quality levels of timber.
Experts say 87 percent of Indiana's forestland is privately owned. They say some of those trees are high quality and could generate potential income.
