(BEDFORD) - The names of the deceased in an accident on Hwy. 50 west of Bedford have been released.

The car/truck accident occurred near the Hwy. 50/60 split resulted in the death of 83-year-old Paul Breidenbach and 77-year-old Elizabeth Breidenbach, both of Bedford.

Police say their car collided with a semi-truck about a mile north of the intersection Friday afternoon. The truck, driven by 43-year-old Carlos Mojica, of Oden, was carrying limestone when it hit the sedan with the two occupants. The truck caught on fire spreading to the car the Breidenbach's were in. Mojica was able to escape.

The Huron Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist. Indiana State Police helped. Traffic had to be rerouted while the vehicles were being removed.
