DNA Links Bedford Man To Rape

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man’s DNA has positively linked him to the rape of a 13-year-old girl.
32-year-old Isaac Collins faces charges of child molestation, rape and confinement for the April 2004 incident. According to a probable-cause affidavit, Collins is accused of raping the juvenile in a parking garage close to the Indiana University campus in Bloomington.
According to police reports, the girl knew Collins. DNA testing proved a positive match in August 2005. Collins remains in the Monroe County Jail on a $55,000 bond.
