Cummins Engine Gets U.S. Army Contract

(COLUMBUS) - The U.S. Army is buying a reported $13.6-million in remanufactured diesel engines from Cummins Engine in Columbus.
Company officials confirm the contract will run through 2010.
The same engine was used in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm to power over 2,500 coalition vehicles.
