BMS Student Wins 33rd WBIW AM Spelling Bee

(BEDFORD) - The 33rd Annual 1340 AM WBIW Spelling Bee final round was held last night.
Winning the event was Logan Wigley. Logan is an 8th grader at Bedford Middle School. Logan's parents are Joy Kern and Troy Wigley, both of Bedford. Logan will now advance to the Louisville Spelling Bee on March 17th at Churchill Downs. We will keep you informed how Logan does then.
Second place went to Laren Denny, 7th grader form Mitchell Junior High School. Taylor Inman, whom won Monday night's competition, came in third place on Tuesday. Taylor is a student at Needmore Elementary school. Congratulations to all who participated.
