Salem Man Arrested For Walking In Middle Of The Road
(PROSPECT) - A man found walking in the middle of a highway was arrested on burglary charges.
Orange County and West Baden Police were alerted of a man walking on Highway 150 about two miles north of French Lick. Officers found 20-year-old Matthew Mills, of Salem, walking in the roadway and initially charged him with public intoxication.
Further investigation found Mills guilty of criminal trespass and attempted residential entry. Mills apparently tried to break into a residence located on Highway 150 near where he was found. Mills is incarcerated at the Orange County Jail awaiting an initial hearing this morning.
