City Meeting For Firetruck Bids

(BEDFORD) - For many years, the city of Bedford has been considering purchasing a new 100-ft. ladder fire truck.
The new fire truck will allow fire fighters to be able to battle fires on any building in the city of Bedford.
Now through many city board meetings searching for grant money and low interest loans, bids will be open this afternoon to purchase the much needed unit.
Also this afternoon, contracts for the Bedford Downtown Convention Center planning grant will be accepted. The meeting will be held in the Bedford City Hall Council Chambers at 1:30PM.
