Contraband In Plain View Sends French Lick Man To Jail
(FRENCH LICK) - A French Lick man was put behind bars after he was found to be in possession of contraband.
Orange County Sheriff's Department Sheriff Bill Fullington says his department, along with the French Lick Police Department, where called to the Kurt Sugarman's apartment after receiving a call about Sugarman's welfare.
When they arrived, they found several types of drugs in plain view inside the apartment. Sugarman was immediately charged with three counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance within one thousand feet of a family housing complex, one count of maintaining a common nuisance, one count of dealing in marijuana over 30 grams, one count of possession of marijuana over 30 grams and one count of possession of a legend drug.
Sugarman was transported to the Orange County Jail in Paoli.
