(BEDFORD) - A new Bedford City Parks Director has been chosen.
Bedford Mayor Joe Klumpp made the announcement at the monthly meeting of the Park Board saying Mike Mitchell has accepted the position.
Mitchell is currently the Bedford Water Utilities Director. He says he's ready to move the Parks Department in a positive direction.
Mitchell will assume his duties immediately.
