(COLUMBUS) - A man previously convicted of beating his wife to death with a skillet will spend more time behind bars on a battery charge.
Albert Boyd had another year tacked on to his 62-year prison term after a judge found he'd beaten his wife Ruth before taking her life.
Boyd lashed out at the proceeding, calling it racist and resembling proceedings of the Ku Klux Klan. Prosecutors say Boyd may have murdered his wife after she filed the battery charge against him.
