Ugliest Dog Winner Is Dead

(STINESVILLE) - A Stinesville dog which won a competition as one of the town’s ugliest but most lovable pets has been found shot to death.
Police say they found Corkie, a terrier mix, dead in a wooded area near the town, apparently from bullet wounds.
Organizers of the town's yearly ugly dog contest say it'll be held in honor of Corkie in 2007. Meanwhile, police continue to look for his killer.
