Seymour Man Arrested on Rape Charges

Indiana State Police arrested a Seymour man on Friday on charges of rape, sexual battery, and domestic battery.
37-year-old James M Vierling was arrested without incident at his place of employment in Bartholomew County and transported to the Jackson County Jail where he is being held without bond. Vierling could face more than twenty years of prison time and several thousand dollars in fines. Indiana State Police in Seymour are continuing to investigate.
