Power Out Twice In Bedford
(BEDFORD) - Power was out for about 2 and half hours last night in Bedford when an open circuit breaker at a substation affected about 880 Duke Energy customers.
According to Angline Protogere of Duke Energy, the circuit breaker was doing its job as a protective device.
Earlier in the day about 1,500 customers of Duke Energy were without power yesterday afternoon.
Duke Energy officials say the outage affected the area north from Hillcrest Road to 16th Street. Power was out for less than a half hour then.
