(BLOOMINGTON) - A free medical facility for low-income Hoosiers will open in Bloomington three months sooner than originally planned.
The volunteers in Medicine Clinic is now slated to open its doors on April 23rd. Directors say financial support from residents and members of the medical community will allow them to change the opening date.
About 150 volunteers have agreed to work at the clinic. The organization hopes to bring that number to 300 by the time the facility opens.
