Government Offices Close For Christmas
(UNDATED) - With Christmas falling on a Monday many Lawrence County, Bedford and Mitchell government offices will be closed to observe the Christmas holiday.
The Marion Township Assessor's office will be closed next Monday and Tuesday and be open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30AM until Noon. They will close again on Monday, January 1st and reopen to regular hours on January 2nd.
The Lawrence County Solid Waste Management District will close the Recycling Center, Compost Facility and the Administration office both Monday and Tuesday. The Transfer Station will only be closed on Christmas Day. All collection stations will be closed on Christmas Day. On Tuesday the Complex, Heltonville, Mill Creek and Silverville stations will be open.
In Mitchell, trash will be picked up on Wednesday, December 27th, on the north side of the town and on Thursday, December 28th, on the south side of Mitchell.
