(BROWNSTOWN) - Police have collared a Jackson County man accused of stealing more than a thousand dollars through various criminal means.
Police say Shannon Carr used forged checks and stolen credit cards to get cash, as well as fencing stolen items at pawn shops.
Police had been investigating the case since late last month when a Seymour homeowner reported tools, checks and credit cards stolen.
The victim had to buy some of those tools back at pawn shops Carr is alleged to have visited.
