(BEDFORD) - Fluoride for Bedford is hopefully just days away.

Bedford City Utilities Director Mike Mitchell says they are awaiting the delivery of some pumps to install in the new building constructed to hold the liquid fluoride.

Mitchell says the new system will add an extra 1 part per million of fluoride into the water that has already has about 5 parts per million of natural fluoride.

Mitchell is hoping the pumps come in before the first of the year. It should take about a day to install them and get them up and running.
