(BEDFORD) - Hoosier Uplands has presented its annual Community Services Award to two long-time supporters and board members.
Larry Sipes, of Lawrence County, has served on the Hoosier Uplands Board for nine years and as Chairman of Shawnee Development Corporation. Richard Beaty, of Orange County, has served on the board for 12 years and is a former County Commissioner.
Both were presented the agency's highest honor at the dinner. The award has been given since 1988.
