Times-Mail Fire Hydrant Damaged

(BEDFORD) - A fire hydrant was damaged in an accident that occurred at the Times-Mail office in Bedford.
Police say 23-year-old Jacob Wampler, of Bloomington, was heading into town at 16th and "H" Streets. Wampler was unfamiliar with one-way 16th Street and made an abrupt right turn.
His vehicle ran into the fire hydrant stationed next to the building. His auto also struck the street sign head on. Wampler was not injured in the accident, however, the fire hydrant had to be replaced.
