Three Injured In Two-Car Crash

(BEDFORD) - Three people were involved in an accident that occurred on South “I” Street in Bedford.

Chevon Bailey, of Bedford, was traveling over the bridge near Brights Lane when another vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Kylene Leonard, was approaching from the opposite end. Bailey saw Leonard and tried to stop to avoid the accident, however, her auto began to slide across the center line.

Both vehicles hit head-on. Bailey received contusions and bruises to her head, while her passenger, 27-year-old Jonathon Bailey suffered minor bleeding to his head. Leonard was apparently not hurt. Police cited Bailey for driving while license suspended, fictious registration, and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility.
