(BEDFORD) - Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bobby Brown talked with the Lawrence County Commissioners in last night’s meeting about obtaining property in the Sunny Acres Drive area to be able to construct a new building for the fire department.
Future plans include purchasing a crash truck for the airport nearby.
It was decided for county attorney Dave Smith to write to Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter for an opinion on what would be the best course of action.
