(BEDFORD) - With the impending snow expected for tonight and Friday, two men are keeping an eye out for the roads in Bedford and Lawrence County.

Lawrence County Highway Department Superintendent Bob Stowe says he takes care of over 700 miles of road. Bedford City Street Commissioner John Dalton says he is responsible for 92 miles.

Stowe says they have a special chemical of beet juice for the county roads. Stowe speaks for both when he says the trucks have special routes to clear roads in the city and county.

Also, both Dalton and Stowe says the trucks will take care of special concerns if residents call for help.
