Police Work Several Incidents

(BEDFORD) - Police detectives are working on two reports of theft at both Jay C Foodstores on 16th Street in Bedford.
The eastside store reports a shoplifter, while the westside store reports an attempted theft. Police continue to investigate.
Meanwhile, a fire was reported at Manchester Tank on "X" Street in Bedford. It apparently started in a men's restroom. Fire fighters continue to investigate the blaze that created heavy smoke. No one was injured in the incident.
Police also investigated a school bus that crashed into a parked car early Tuesday morning in Oolitic while attempting to make a right turn. No one was injured in the accident. Bus driver Debra Todd was preparing to pick up some students before the accident occurred.
