(GEORGETOWN) - A Georgetown woman has turned herself in to police following an investigation into an alleged theft of monies from the Southern Indiana Gymnastics School in New Albany.
Police say the business was made aware of some possible improprieties by the Internal Revenue Service after some records were found to be discrept.
Deborah K. Weathers had been employed by Southern Indiana Gymnastics School as an office manager for about two years. Police say she allegedly stole over $350,000 by taking cash, checks and credit cards belonging to the business.
Weathers was incarcerated in the Floyd County Jail awaiting her first court appearance.
