Mitchell Bridge Discussed At Commissioners Meeting

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Commissioners met in a rare nighttime meeting last night with a lengthy rooster of appointments.
Engineer Melvin Beeker reported to the board about the by-pass bridge to be built in Mitchell as part of the access road to the city's new industrial park.
Even though the city apparently will be using the nearly $10-million given to them by the state, County Commissioner president Janie Craig-Chenault asked that Mitchell let the board know about the bridge construction.
