(BEDFORD) - Bedford physician Kim Scherschel will be behind bars today to raise money for the March of Dimes.
He will be held "hostage" in the Hanon Room at Dunn Memorial Hospital. His "sentence" will begin at 12 Noon and he will attempt to raise $300 dollars before he will be let out. He will be calling individuals and businesses in attempt to raise the money.
If you would like to get Dr. Scherschel "out of jail," call him at 275-3331, ext. 543. Lawrence County March of Dimes spokesperson Jodie Rhorer says today's Jail and Bail is part of November's Prematurity Month.
