(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Council met in their official last meeting Tuesday night and finished out the year with mostly routine business.
A salary ordinance duplication was revised by dropping an additional salary line for the Jail Matron. The second adoption was passed after the correction.
Lawrence County Tourism Director Paul Lambrecht announced to the board this would be his last year working as director. He has been a county director or board member since 1969.
Two members of the board held their last meeting last night. Dan Burton and Lonnie Johnson said their goodbyes. Burton has served on the board for 12 years, Johnson for eight.
