Icy Roads Cause Fatal Crash

Last updated on Tuesday, November 21, 2006

(SELLERSBURG) - Indiana State Police were called to a report of a fatal crash due to the icy roads.

Three vehicles were involved when a pickup truck, driven by 19-year-old Edward Hall, crossed a bridge and lost control of his vehicle. The spinning truck hit a car driven by 61-year-old Inge Ross. Hall's truck then hit another truck, driven by Evan Blevins who was behind Ross' auto.

When police arrived they found Ross had died. She was wearing her seat belt. Hall was taken to Clark Memorial Hospital with slight injures. Blevins and his passenger were not injured. The State Road was closed for over two hours while police investigated the accident and the bridge de-iced.
