Columbus Man Charged With Internet Fruad

(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus man who’s a career criminal has been sentenced to three years in the slammer for bilking customers of his E-Bay auction business out of more than $5,000.
Police were alerted to Mark Newton's latest scam in March when a woman who purchased a computer from him online reported she never received it.
Newton pleaded guilty to theft last month. He's faced at least five internet fraud campaigns stemming from his online auction activities. During his life, he's been handed more than one hundred criminal charges.
