Brown County Convicted Wife Killer Sentenced

(NASHVILLE) - A Brown County man was sentenced to 55 years in prison for killing his wife.

Michael Smith maintains he didn't commit the crime.

Fifty-five-year-old Linda Smith was found floating face-down in the couple's hot tub, dead.

Mr. Smith was arrested more than two years later. In August, jurors convicted him of his wife's murder.
