Bloomington Doctor Fired For Unsafe Practices

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Surgery Center has fired a doctor who the State Health Department says used the same syringe on multiple patients.

Doctor Kamal Tiwari hasn't done any anesthesiology since last summer, when the investigation into his practices began.

Tiwari still works at Monroe Hospital and his superiors say he won't face any disciplinary action there.
