(BEDFORD) - Most people are familiar with the ringing bells during Christmas time at the Salvation Army red kettles, but in Bedford the sound is a bit different.
Teenagers Lori Nugent and Kasey Sealcot, both of Bedford, played their flutes in front of Wal-Mart while standing next to one of the red kettles.
The Salvation Army, in Bedford and worldwide, relies on the generosity of shoppers as they drop their change and dollar bills in the kettle slot.
