(BEDFORD) - After about a two month investigation, police have arrested a Bedford man on theft charges.
Police say 45-year-old Randy Cheatham was found to be in possession of a Czechoslovakian .22-calibur magnum semi-automatic rifle owned by Shannon Judah. Judah reported to police other guns missing and valued them at $15-hundred dollars.
Cheatham was taken to the Lawrence County Security Center and booked on the theft charges. A $50,000 cash bond or $37,000 surety bond was placed on Cheatham. Police continue to search for the remaining missing guns.
