Bedford Christmas Parade Deadline Extended
(BEDFORD) - Bedford Festival of Lights Christmas Parade chairman Gary Ochs has extended the deadline for those wanting to participate in this year’s parade.
The event will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, at 6:00PM. Third grader Rachael Sorrells, from Stalker School, has been chosen as the Grand Marshall. Parade Chairman Gary Ochs says he is hoping to exceed last year's total of 146 entries.
Ochs says that entry forms will now need to be postmarked no later than tomorrow, Wednesday, November 22nd. Entry forms can be picked up at at the radio station on Heltonville Road, the Times-Mail newspaper office, Bedford City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce. You can also go online to bedfordchristmasparade.com and print out an entry form.
Ochs also notes that this parade always turns out to be the biggest celebration in Southern Indiana.
