(JASPER) - Jasper police say a bank robber has struck a third time on the city’s north side.
Video surveillance confirms a man smashed a breakroom window to enter the building and spent as much as 50 minutes inside. The robber made off with rolls of pennies and nickels, as well as a computer and its accompanying mouse and flat screen monitor.
The same bank was burglarized in April and May, as well. The bank has no exterior alarm or motion sensors inside, making it more difficult to warn police of a robbery in progress. Bank officials say no personal information was compromised during the heist.
