(JUDAH) - Two out-of-town men should consider themselves lucky after an accident at the intersection of new Highway 37 and old Highway 37 at Judah.

Lawrence County Police were called to the scene when 30-year-old James Howell, of Terre Haute, came from behind with his vehicle and hit 21-year-old Nathan Podoll, of Louisville, in his vehicle spinning his vehicle 180 degrees.

Howell told police he looked down to place a CD into his radio. When he looked up he saw Podoll's vehicle but was unable to stop in time to avoid the accident. Medical personnel arrived at the scene of the accident, but both drivers refused treatment.
