Teen Dies After Standing On Highway

(ELLETTSVILLE) - An Ellettsville teen is dead after he stood in the middle of a highway and was hit by an oncoming truck.
19-year-old Matthew Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which took place on Indiana 46.
Witnesses say poor morning visibility may have contributed to driver Hans Addleman's inability to stop before striking Thompson. Police say Addleman was not cited for any driving infraction.
