Staten Benefit For Their Six Children

(BLOOMINGTON) - Scott and Jill Staten, of Bloomington, were killed in a motorcycle accident about two weeks ago leaving behind six children.

The couple had no life insurance to take care of the youngsters.

A pitch-in dinner and benefit auction has been put together to raise money to help them. It will be held at Johnny Joe's Pub and Putter's Park in Ellettsville on Tuesday, November 7th starting at 4:00PM. An auction will be held beginning at 5:00PM. Organizers are looking for auction items.

Tickets are $5.00 per person. Door prizes will be given and tickets are a dollar each or 6 for $5.00. If you would like to donate, bring your contributions to Putter's Park, 4747 West, State Road 46 in Ellettsville. Monetary donations can be sent to the Staten's Children's Fund, care of Putter's Park at People State Bank of Ellettsville.
